Hydrophil fabric, also called baby cotton or muslin, is a lovely soft, supple and moisture-absorbing fabric specially designed for use around babies. The open weave structure means the fabric quickly absorbs moisture while remaining light and breathable, making it ideal for sensitive baby skin.
Hydrophil is known for its soft, light drape and characteristic gauze weave that gives the fabric its suppleness. This special structure means the fabric needs hardly any ironing, making it much easier to work with. Keep in mind that hydrophil shrinks slightly more than average fabrics on first wash, so wash it before cutting to size.
