Hydrophilic fabric, also known as baby cotton or muslin, has a soft, supple and absorbent character. It is easy to work with for a wide range of purposes, and is especially popular for babies, being widely used for swaddle blankets, Moses basket liners, baby clothes and much more. Thanks to its open weave structure, it requires no ironing, though it does have a slightly higher shrinkage rate than average when washed.
