Hydrophilic fabric, also known as baby cotton or muslin, has a soft, supple and highly absorbent character.
It is easy to work with for a wide range of purposes, and is particularly popular for babies, where it is widely used for swaddle blankets, cot linings, baby clothing and much more. Thanks to its open weave structure, ironing is not required, though it does shrink slightly more than average when washed.
