Corduroy Stretch Fabric 29 Wales – Fine Ribbed Texture with Comfortable Stretch
This Corduroy Stretch Fabric 29 Wales is made from 65% polyester, 32% nylon and 3% spandex and combines a refined ribbed texture with outstanding wearing comfort.
Thanks to its weight of 220 g/m² the fabric has a pleasingly substantial feel, while the comfortable stretch ensures an excellent fit. With a width of 145 cm this fabric is ideal for creating fashionable and comfortable garments.
The term 29 Wales refers to the number of ribs per inch. The higher the wale count, the finer the ribbed texture. This gives the corduroy an elegant, understated look that works beautifully for both casual and smarter occasions. The combination of polyester and nylon makes the fabric strong, hard-wearing and shape-retaining, while the 3% spandex adds extra freedom of movement and a comfortable stretch.
