Poplin fabric navy is a soft and supple cotton-like woven fabric that works for a wide range of sewing projects. The fine, tight weave creates a smooth surface that feels lovely and holds its shape well, making it much easier to work with.
Poplin is known for its light, fluid drape and its characteristic fine crosswise rib structure. The fabric feels pleasantly soft, has minimal stretch and cuts and sews easily. Thanks to its tight weave, poplin is also excellent as a lining, as it lies flat under other fabrics.
